What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with creating deep links for declarative agents in Teams, specifically where the copilot panel disappears or the app is not found after installation.
Reason:
This arises when modifying the existing link to use teams.microsoft.com instead of the standard URL format, leading to the copilot panel disappearing or the app not being found.
Resolution:
- The current method for sharing a link for declarative agents involves directing to a specific online platform.
- It is recommended to ensure that the deep link is created based on Microsoft documentation to avoid issues with the copilot panel disappearing.
- If issues persist, verify the installation of the bot in the Teams client, as the expected behavior is for the link to open a conversation directly if the bot is installed.
- If the bot is not installed, the link should ideally open a window for further action.
