What’s happening?
The customer is requesting information on how to restrict the usage of AI Builder for all users across all environments within their tenant. They are looking for a method to make AI Builder inaccessible at the tenant level rather than on an individual environment basis.
Reason:
- Lack of a global setting within the tenant to restrict AI Builder access for all users.
- Insufficient understanding of the roles and permissions required to limit AI Builder usage.
Resolution:
- AI Builder usage can be restricted to environments with explicitly assigned credits only by disabling the tenant setting for use of unassigned credits in Power Platform Admin. See AI Builder licensing and credit management | Microsoft Learn
