What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues where the email sender in their Microsoft Power Automate flows is not being set correctly, resulting in the connected user being displayed as the sender instead of the intended user.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this appears to be related to the configuration of the flow and the connections used within it. Specifically, there may be discrepancies in how the connections are registered and displayed in the flow, leading to confusion about which user is set as the sender.
Resolution:
To resolve this, verify the following steps:
- Check the connection settings in the flow:
- Open the flow in the Power Automate interface.
- Click on the "Edit" button for the connection settings.
- Review the "Embedded Connections" section to ensure the correct user is set as the sender.
- If the sender's account is not set correctly, remove the incorrect account by clicking the [X] button next to it.
- If necessary, export the flow package and import it using the [wf-master] account to see if this resolves the sender issue.
