What’s happening?
The "Lockout Enabled" field is checked on a contact, but the Lockout End Date field is empty.
Reason:
The Lockout End Date field may be empty because the lockout settings have not been configured properly.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the "Lockout Enabled" option is enabled to allow lockouts after a specified number of failed attempts.
- Populate the "Lockout End Date" field to define when the contact will be unlocked automatically. This can be configured to lock out the contact for a specific duration after a failed attempt.
- Verify that the site setting "Authentication/UserManager/DefaultAccountLockoutTimeSpan" is configured correctly to determine the duration of the lockout.
- Check if the site setting "Authentication/Registration/LockoutOnFailedPassword" is set to true, as this setting controls whether the account gets locked after failed password attempts.
