What’s happening?
Customers are unable to change the domain for their portal website bindings after updating the organization URL in the Power Pages site. The website bindings do not generate correctly to the custom website, leading to a "page not found" error.
Reason:
This arises due to misconfiguration after changing the organization URL. The website bindings fail to point to the custom website as expected, and the system generates default bindings instead.
Resolution:
- Confirm that the organization URL has been updated correctly.
- Disable the Admin Only mode for the Dynamics 365 instance.
- Restart the portal after making the changes to see if the website bindings generate correctly.
- If this persists, delete existing website bindings and allow the system to generate new default bindings.
