What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing a Power Weblink Configuration error when attempting to reorder pages from the front end. Specifically, dragging a subpage into another menu disrupts the configuration of existing weblinks, leading to broken links and unexpected behavior across the site.
Reason:
This arises when a subpage is dragged and dropped into a different menu, which causes the weblink associations to break due to the inheritance of permissions from the main page.
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these steps:
1. If the page is within a sub menu, access the Designer Studio.
2. Promote the subpage to a main page by marking it on the sitemap and clicking the three dots.
3. Drag and drop the promoted main page into the desired menu.
4. Sync the portal to ensure that everything works as expected.
