What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with accessing SharePoint and Power Apps due to DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policy mismatches and licensing restrictions. Users may receive error messages indicating that requests were not sent or that there was no response from the server.

Reason:

  • The DLP error may be related to licensing issues, particularly when using Dataflows that require premium licenses.
  • In some cases, the DLP policy may not be correctly configured to allow certain connectors, despite exemptions being set up.

Resolution
For DLP Connector Policy Mismatch:

  • Confirm that the necessary licenses for using Dataflows are in place, as the lack of premium licenses can prevent proper functionality.
  • Verify that the DLP policy exemptions are still active. If necessary, remove and re-add the exemptions to resync them.
For Power Apps Access Issues:
  • Check if the issue occurs only when connected to the company network or VPN, as this may indicate a network-related problem.
  • Investigate any recent changes on the Microsoft end that may require adjustments to the firewall or network settings.
For CoE Environment Connector Issues:
  • Review the DLP requirements specific to the CoE environment.
  • Ensure that all necessary connectors are allowed as per the updated DLP policy.
