What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies where certain business connectors are being blocked or not functioning as expected when integrating Microsoft Dataverse with SharePoint.
Cause:
- This is related to DLP policies incorrectly blocking integration between business connectors and SharePoint, even when exclusions are configured for specific environments.
Resolution:
- For this where the business connector shared_commondataserviceforapps cannot be used with shared_sharepointonline, ensure that the DLP policy settings are correctly configured to allow the necessary connections.
- If the environment is being blocked by the "Default Policy" despite exclusions, create a new DLP policy specifically for the environment and ensure it is applied correctly.
- In cases where DLP rules are not working as expected, re-create the SFTP connection in the environment to resolve the issue.
