What’s happening?
The customer is unable to renew their Website authentication key due to insufficient membership role permissions.


Reason:
To update the website authentication key, the user must be an Administrator (service or global administrator) and the user's access mode must be set to "Write."


Resolution:

  1. Verify if the user account is set up with a Global Administrator role.
  2. If the user is already a Global Administrator, check if another Global Administrator role can be added to provide more privileges, including the permission to renew the authentication key.
  3. Ensure that the security role (System Administrator) has the "Write" access mode configured.

  5. Note that it might take hours for the permission changes to take effect.
