Applies to Product - Power Pages

What’s happening?
Customers need to restrict access to a Power Pages site to a limited number of users within their organization.

Reason:
The current design of Power Pages requires that view permissions must be granted to each user individually, as security groups cannot be used for this purpose.

Resolution:
To share a Power Pages site with limited users, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to Power Pages and edit your site.
2. In the left side panel, select the Management section.
3. In the Site settings card, select the appropriate options to set the site visibility to private.
4. To grant access to specific users:

  • In the site access card, enter the names or email addresses of the users you want to grant access to.
  • Select Share.
5. Only site makers and organization users to whom access has been granted can view private sites. Site visitors need to authenticate with the organization's Microsoft Entra ID identity provider before they can view site contents.
Note: These types of view permissions must be granted to each user, as a security group cannot be used. This is by design. For more information, refer to the Power Pages security documentation.
