What’s happening?
Unable to export forecast lines from Demand Planning PowerApp into Dynamics 365 FnO. When an export job is launched from the Demand Planning App, the resulting job fails to stage most records into the Forecastlines table.


Reason:
The telemetry review indicated a validation error related to the product number not being found in the related table 'Products'. Additionally, there are instances where records remain in a "Not started" status during the staging process, preventing the correct import of forecast lines.


Resolution:

  1. Verify that the product numbers in the export data exist in the related 'Products' table to avoid validation errors.
  2. Check the configuration parameters of the demand forecasting setup to ensure they are correct.
  3. Review the telemetry for any anomalies or errors during the export process.
  4. If the issue persists, consider exporting the data in a non-XML format like Excel to identify and correct any invalid data.
  5. Ensure that the AML Web API endpoints are correctly set up.
  6. If necessary, run a trace log to identify any transient SQL errors during the staging process.
