Applies to Product - Power Pages

What’s happening?
Customers are unable to share Power Page sites and Model Driven Apps with a group of users within their organization.

Reason:

  • For Power Page sites, sharing with a group email address is not supported; access can only be granted to individual email addresses.
  • For Model Driven Apps, the group must be an Azure Active Directory (AAD) security group to be shareable.
  •
Resolution:
For Power Page Sites:
  1. Sign in to Power Pages and edit your site.
  2. In the left side panel, select the site.
  3. In the Manage section, select Site Access.
  4. In the site access card, enter the individual email addresses of the users you want to grant access to.
  5. Select Share. This will allow you to grant access to up to 50 organization users.
  6. Reference document: Grant Access to a Private Site.
For Model Driven Apps:
  1. Ensure that the group you are attempting to share the app with is an AAD security group.
  2. If the group does not appear when attempting to share, it may need to be added manually in the environment variable.
  3. If you have an app using connections published prior to a specific date, republish your application and unshare any connections with end users that should not have them.
If further assistance is needed, please provide additional details regarding this.
