What’s happening?
Workflow connections in Power Automate are failing.

Reason:
Connection issues may be caused by a combination of DLP policy configuration, user permissions, or authentication settings (such as Multi-Factor Authentication).

Resolution:

  1. Verify DLP policy configuration:
    1. Open the Power Platform admin center.
    2. Navigate to Data policies and select the policy applied to the affected environment.
    3. Confirm that required connectors (e.g., Microsoft Teams or Outlook) are allowed and categorized appropriately (Business or Non-Business) for the workflow scenario.
  2. Check user permissions and access:
    1. Ensure the user has sufficient permissions to access the connectors involved in the flow.
    2. If connector access is environment-restricted, make sure the user is working within the correct environment.
  3. Review authentication settings:
    1. If Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled for the user’s account, try signing in again to refresh the authentication token.
    2. In some cases, MFA configuration may interfere with connector sign-in. If applicable, review and adjust MFA settings according to your organization's security policies.
  4. Recreate the workflow (optional):
    1. If the issue persists, try recreating the flow from scratch. This can help rule out problems introduced during the original flow’s creation.
  5. If you're still experiencing issues, capture a HAR file and relevant sign-in logs while reproducing the connection error. These logs can help Microsoft support investigate further if needed.
