What’s happening?
Customers encounter an error message stating "Value was too large or too small for an int32" when attempting to generate payments using the payment by check function.
 

Reason:
This arises when the check number being used exceeds the acceptable range supported by the system, which is from 0 to a specified maximum value.
 

Resolution:

  1. Open the Feature management workspace.
  2. In the list of features, find and select "Enable check number validation."
  3. Go to Cash and bank management parameters.
  4. Under General Check setup, enable the "Allow check number validation" parameter.
  5. In the Check number interval field, select a value that is within the acceptable range.
  6. Ensure that the check number being used is within the supported range to avoid the error.
