What’s happening?

Unexpected emails being sent from Power Automate to CRM systems without any known flows created by them.


Reason:
The unexpected emails sent to CRM may be due to server-side synchronization settings in the Dataverse, where emails are automatically tracked based on the Incoming Email Filtering Method specified for each identified recipient. If a user or queue mailbox is configured to automatically track emails, it may lead to unexpected email synchronization.


Resolution:

  1. Check the server-side synchronization settings for the Dataverse mailbox to identify which mailbox is configured to automatically track emails.
  2. Review the properties of the synchronized email in Dataverse to determine the Accepting Entity and Receiving Mailbox.
  3. If necessary, adjust the Incoming Email Filtering Method for the user or queue to prevent future occurrences.
