What’s happening?
The advance filtering button in the Accounting source explorer report is not appearing in the environment when only the "Accountant" role is assigned to users. This issue is observed in the Sandbox environment, while it functions correctly in lower environments.
Reason:
This arises when the "Accounting source explorer updated advanced filtering" feature is enabled. Users with the "Accountant" role and the AccountingSourceExplorerView privilege are unable to access the "Advance filtering" button in the accounting source explorer report when this feature is active.
Resolution:
- Disable the "Accounting source explorer updated advanced filtering" feature in feature management. This allows users with the "Accountant" role to access the "Advance filtering" button.
- If the feature is required to be enabled, further investigation is needed to address the security issue affecting the visibility of the button for users with the "Accountant" role.
