What’s happening?

  1. When releasing loads in warehouse management, the loads take over an hour and eventually time out, resulting in a stack trace error.
  2. All batch jobs have stopped in production, causing a disruption in business flow, with workflows getting stuck or not starting automatically.
  3. Subledger journal entries are stuck in "transfer in process" status, preventing period closure.

Reason:

  1. A bug has been detected that causes loads to fail when releasing due to a WriterLock failure.
  2. The AOS crashes due to heap corruption, affecting all batch jobs across the system.
  3. A specific subledger journal entry is stuck in "transfer in process" status, which may be related to the system's handling of transfers.

Resolution:

  1. For the load release issue, apply the fix for the detected bug and ensure it is tested in the UAT environment before moving to production.
  2. For the batch job failures, apply the fix for heap corruption in the environment and verify if the issue persists. Additionally, consider removing any customizations that may be causing the workflows to stop.
  3. To resolve the subledger journal entry issue, cancel the transfer by clicking the 'Cancel transfer' button. This will reset the status, allowing the background job to pick it up the next time it runs.
