What’s happening?
An error occurs when attempting to live sync the Data Warehouse (DW) mapping after restoring data from the UAT environment to the cloud-hosted environment.
 

Reason:
The current environment does not meet the minimum platform version required for executing dual write.
 

Resolution:

  1. Reset the dual-write link by following these steps:
  2. Click on [System Administration] - [Data Management] - [Dual Write].
  3. Click on [Reset Link].
  4. For detailed instructions, refer to the published information: Resetting Dual Write Link.
  5. Ensure that the platform version is updated to meet the minimum requirements for dual write execution. For guidance on the security update, refer to the following link: Security Update.
  6. If the error persists, check the storage account settings in the Azure Portal:
  7. Click on [Storage Accounts].
  8. Select the relevant storage account.
  9. In the [Settings] - [Configuration] page, ensure that "Allow access to storage account keys" is set to "Enabled" and save the changes.
  10. If issues continue, consider updating Visual Studio to the latest version and ensure it is closed before attempting the update again.
