Applies to Product - Dynamics 365 Finance
What’s happening?
- Customers are encountering an error message indicating that the server has encountered an error and is either not available or cannot respond at this time.
- Customers are unable to see tenant data usage for Finance and Operations in the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
Reason:
- The server error may be due to the cloud-hosted environment's limitations, which restrict direct access for in-depth troubleshooting.
- The feature for viewing tenant data usage in PPAC has not been activated for certain environments.
Resolution:
- For server-related issues:
- Verify the server hosting the environment is operational.
- Clear the browser's cache and cookies or try accessing the environment in an incognito/private browsing window.
- Check if the Application Object Server (AOS) is running and restart it if necessary.
- Ensure all services related to Finance and Operations are active.
- Investigate any database connectivity issues to ensure the database is reachable.
- If custom code or customizations are being executed at startup, disable them to see if they are causing the error.
- If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider deploying a new virtual machine.
- For visibility of tenant data usage in PPAC:
- Customers should be informed that the feature is currently not available for their environment and that the product team is working on enabling this functionality.
- Encourage customers to check for updates regarding the activation of this feature in their environment.
