What’s happening?
Co-authoring is enabled in PowerApps, but some users are experiencing a read-only status when attempting to edit the app.
Reason:
This may arise due to multiple sessions being created when users open several tabs of the studio, which can exceed the limit of 10 edit sessions. This can be exacerbated by network lag or latency.
Resolution:
- Advise users not to open too many tabs in the studio to avoid exceeding the session limit.
- If this persists, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Clear the browser cache and close all browsers.
- Open the browser in private mode (without cache) and attempt to access the app.
- Test the app in a different supported browser.
- Delete all temporary files and restart the device.
- If necessary, revert to a previous version of the studio and reopen the app.
- As a last resort, turn off and then turn on co-authoring to see if this resolves the issue.
