What’s happening?
The Modern control of the canvas app always shows input history, which is undesirable for some users.
Reason:
This is caused by the browser's AutoFill feature, which is not related to PowerApps. The Modern text input control does not set the autocomplete attribute, leading the browser to make its own determination regarding autofill behavior.
Resolution:
To mitigate this, users can disable the AutoFill feature in the Edge browser. Instructions for disabling AutoFill can be found in the FAQ at the following link: Microsoft Edge AutoFill Features.
