What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing an issue where the D365 sessions unexpectedly return to the main dashboard while working on forms, such as the Purchase Order form.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this may be related to session inactivity timeout settings and user behaviour while working on sessions.
Resolution:
- Increase the session inactivity timeout from the standard 30 minutes to 40 minutes to determine if this persists.
- Advise end users to avoid working on a single session for more than 10 minutes to prevent any potential issues.
