GP Transaction Search v2: Downloading and Installing

This post is part of the series on installing and configuring version 2 of this free GP Transaction Search addin from Steve Endow of Precipio Services.

Now that the prerequisites are installed we can download and install the addin. GP Transaction Search can be downloaded from Precipio Services:

Extract the files from the downloaded zip; there are four versions of the addin in the download. Open the relevant versions folder and copy the three files into the addins folder in the Microsoft Dynamics GP installation folder:

Version 2 of GP Transaction Search includes three search windows; there is a stored procedure for each of the windows in the downloaded zip. This stored procedure is called to return the data:

Run each of these stored procedures against all of the companies using SQL Server Management Studio.
