ReportWe are talking roughly 3650 days since i was first asked by a customer for this sort of functionality it is finally here in Dynamics 365 (CRM)
Had a user who only wants to work in excel and won't adopt CRM? Want a quick edit without opening any other windows or tabs?
Well here it is - Editable Grids and my quick setup overview
1) Go into your Solution and select the entity you want to use this on, then Controls
2) Select "Add Controls"
3) You now have the option to add "Editable Grid"
4) Modes should be set to "Edit & Read"
5) Select "Add Lookup
6) Now we can select the view we want to be able to edit and the lookup fields
7) You have the ability to set what device can see what types of grids by chaning the values
8) Save & Publish
9) Head over to your entity and the view
10) Start editing the data and tab away to save
