DYNSA cannot add / update users or reset passwords in Dynamics GP

You need to add both the ‘dbcreator’ and ’securityadmin’ roles to the DYNSA user ID in MSSQL.

Log into System Manager in MSSQL.  Expand the ‘Security’ section and then expand ‘Logins’…search down through the list of logins for the DYNSA user. Right click this, and select ‘Properties’. When the ‘Login Properties -DYNSA’ window appears, click on ‘Server Roles’ in the top left hand corner, and tick both ‘dbcreator’ and ’securityadmin’ as per te screenshot below.
