Counting Group – Counting Code – Period

If you are looking at strategies for counting then one option for counting is time. Meaning that you count stock at regular intervals. You can set this up with the counting group set to period on the counting group. This allows you to filter out the stock based on the period you specify, since the last time it was counted. For example if you counted an item today and you had set the period to 7 days. You would have to wait till next week till it showed up to be counted again.

This could be helpful to assigned different periods to different classes of products. For example slower moving products you might want to set to a longer period. Faster moving products you might want to set to a shorter period.
