Loyalty program setup in commerce

Loyalty reward points

1. Go to Retail and Commerce > Customers > Loyalty > Loyalty reward points.
2. Click New.
3. In the Reward point ID field, type a value.
4. In the Description field, type a value.
5. In the Reward point type field, select an option.

Select Quantity if you want the reward points to be rounded to the nearest integer. Select Amount if you want the reward points to be rounded according to currency rounding rules. If you select Quantity.

Redeem ranking is used when two or more redeemable reward points can be used to pay for products.

Loyalty program

1. Go to Retail and Commerce >Customers>Loyalty >Loyalty programs.
2. Click New.
3. In the Name field, type a value.
4. In the Description field, type a value.

Program Tiers: Lets you define different level of program (Ex: Level 1 silver, level 2 gold)

Click Add line

In the Level field, enter a number.

In the Tier field, enter a name for the loyalty tier.

In the Description field, type a value.

In the date interval - This date interval should extend into the future. For example, if the date interval that is selected for gold tier is a one-year period, any customer who qualifies for the gold tier can receive the rewards that are assigned to the gold tier for one year.

Tier Rules

Tier rules define the minimum number of a reward point needed to be earned during a time period to qualify for the tier.

Price Group

The Price groups link at the top of the page is for the loyalty program. The Price groups link in the Program tiers Fast Tab is for a specific loyalty tier only.

Click on price group – from the program tiers fast tab

Click New

Price group – In the price group drop down select the applicable price group. (If price group is not created – right click – view details – create a new group

Loyalty schemes

Loyalty schemes are reward earning and redeeming rules for a loyalty program

1. Go to Retail and Commerce > Customers > Loyalty > Loyalty schemes.
2. Click New.
3. In the Scheme ID field, type a value.
4. In the Description field, type a value.
5. In the loyalty program field, Select a loyalty program

Earning Rules

1. Click Add line
2. In Activity type – Purchase products by amount (Select Purchase products by amount if you want customers to earn rewards based on how much they spend. Select Purchase products by quantity if you want customers to earn rewards based on how many products they buy. Select Sales transaction count if you want customers to earn rewards for each sales transaction, regardless of what or how much is purchased.
3. Activity amount - 1
4. Activity currency – USD
5. Reward point ID – For which earning rules is applicable
6. Reward points – 1 (For every 1 USD, 1 reward points will be issued)

Redemption Rules

Redemption rules are used when the loyalty payment method is used

1. Click Add line
2. Reward point id – Select reward point ID from drop down
3. Reward Points – 1
4. Redemption type – (Selecting Payment by amount causes the Amount or quantity field to be treated as a currency value, Selecting Payment by quantity causes the Amount or quantity field to be treated as a quantity value.) Redemption type of Loyalty points discount is only valid when the 'Russia' Country/Regional specific features configuration key is enabled.
5. Amount/ quantity – 1
6. Currency – USD

Retail channel – Add the retail channel link for which loyalty scheme needs to be used

Loyalty Cards

1. Go to Retail and Commerce > Customers > Loyalty >Loyalty cards
2. Click new
3. Card Type – As card Tender
4. Customer name – Assign a customer to whom loyalty scheme should be applicable

Loyalty programs

Click on Update card Tiers – system will automatically update Tiers based on the setup

Or

1. Click Add line
2. In loyalty program field – select the applicable loyalty program
3. Program Tier – select the applicable program tier

Card Adjustment for loyalty points

Click on card Adjustments

Click – New

Reward point – Applicable reward point

Loyalty program – Applicable loyalty program

Amount – 100

Click on post Adjustment
