Purchasing spend analysis reports – data source

If you are looking at the supplier spend analysis reports that are listed under procurement and sourcing in AX and you are getting no data that is likely because you don’t have the cubes setup or haven’t processed them to move data into the cubes. There are a few of the reports listed that start with “Spend by” these all run off the cubes. They are handy reports to do some analysis of what you are spending with suppliers. So if you want to run these reports then you will have to setup and process the cubes.

Keep in mind that seeing the data is in the cubes you could also use Excel or some other analysis package to view the data instead of running the SSRS based reports in AX.
