How To: Ending Depreciation Value equal to 1

Ahmed Mohamed Rafik Profile Picture Ahmed Mohamed Rafik 3,049 User Group Leader

By engaging with different business scenarios with a lot of customers using Dynamics NAV in Cairo – Egypt, we notice that there is a need for making the depreciation ending value equal to One, to separate those assets that are fully depreciated with those who are still a new fixed assets.

Therefore, Dynamics NAV consider this option as a business need. By going to the “Depreciation Book” related to the fixed asset, you will found the following field that enable to make the last depreciation amount to the value you need to be.

q

“Default Ending Book Value”, Enter the amount you need the ending book value to be associated.

In our case, you can enter 1 for making all net book value for all fixed assets equal to 1 instead of ZERO.

I hope it is helpful.

See you in another post.
