Fixed Asset Management in Microsoft Dynamics GP

The Fixed Asset Management module in Microsoft Dynamics GP (www.mig.com/DynamicsGP) gives you many features and reporting tools that help you manage company assets easily and with great flexibility. Improve the overall financial management of your organization by tracking, analyzing, and manipulating fixed asset information in ways tailored to best meet your specific needs.

It is quick and easy to set up assets in Dynamics GP. You can enter a wide range of asset information, such as acquisition date, cost, and physical location, and you can create an unlimited number of books of assets for each company, including corporate, federal tax, alternative minimum tax, and more.

Depreciation is a snap with Fixed Asset Management in Microsoft Dynamics GP. You can use classes or account groups to save time and money, by setting defaults and making mass changes, such as retirement or depreciation, to large numbers of assets at the same time. You can manage asset depreciation with any of 16 different depreciation methods, and you can back depreciation out, recalculate it, add additional depreciation, or project it ahead for any number of assets in your books.

You can amend asset information for one or more assets with ease, and you can capture asset data needed for tax or reporting purposes while performing depreciations. You can also compare asset depreciation for up to three books at once. You'll have one-click access to user-defined information or other vital data, including asset maintenance, purchase, lease, and book information.

Fixed Asset Management is smoothly integrated with the other modules in Microsoft Dynamics GP, ensuring accuracy and reducing redundant data entry.
