How to Prepare PL-900: Power Platform Exam?

Background:

Working with Dynamics CRM from 4.0 till Dynamics 365. Currently, doing implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement mostly using Model-driven apps.

Preparation for PL-900 – Power Platform Fundamentals:

I followed the following strategy to prepare for this exam:-

1. Create an account on the Microsoft Documentation & Learning. It will help you to keep track of your progress.
2. Start reading the Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals learning path.
3. Register for the Microsoft Power Platform Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals. There are two advantages for it, first this training is absolutely FREE and second after completing this training you’re entitled for the PL-900 Exam voucher.
4. Watched PL-900 videos on YouTube which are uploaded by Susanth Sutheesh. I used his collection for the recap and I found the videos short, simple & to the point.

Areas where I feel we should spend more time:

1. Canvas Apps:
   1. How to install/uninstall Canvas Apps versions?
   2. How to restore the previous version of Canvas Apps?
   3. What are the implications of Canvas Apps?
2. Power BI:
   1. What is Power BI Desktop?
   2. What can you do through Power BI Desktop & what can’t you?
   3. What is Power BI Service?
   4. What can you do through Power BI Service & what can’t you?
