wfDeployClrAssemblies Error When Deploying The System Database
This post is a slight diversion from my Hands On With Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 R1 series, but I am posting it as it came up while I was deploying the system database.
Towards the end of the deployment an error occurred while the wfDeployClrAssemblies was being executed (actually there were three error messages produced):

Install of database failed! Microsoft Dynamics GP Utilities will now shut down.
I did some digging and found a thread on the Dynamics Communities site which explained the issue was .NET Framework 4.5.1 was not installed. I think I haven’t come across this issue recently as I typvially have Paint.NET installed on the server before trying to install GP and this installs that version of .NET.
One quick install of Paint.NET later and I was able to deploy the system database again (I wanted to ensure a clean install so deleted the database and ran GP Utilities again.
