AX 2012 R3 Trial Balance Form No Longer Supports Filtering Across Financial Periods

In AX 2012 R1 and R2 you could filter the Trial Balance form (General Ledger/Common/Trial Balance) across multiple financial periods. This functionality has been depreciated in AX 2012. When selecting a ‘From Date’ and ‘To Date’ across financial periods in the Parameters option:

Microsoft has indicated this change was done due to performance. As a workaround we found we could implement the original R1 form in R3.
