Tip in D365FO - Run as administrator

Hi,

In this post, I would like to provide a tip related to D365FO. It is advised to open Visual Studio with "Run as Administrator" option. For this, we need to right click on Visual Studio and select Run as administrator instead we can set this option as default on the shortcut.

Step 1: Locate Visual Studio, right click on it and choose option Pin to taskbar.

Step 2: Right-click on the Visual Studio icon on the taskbar and select properties.

Step 3: From the shortcut tab, click on advanced properties button and here we have an option to open Visual studio with the run as administrator privilege. Mark it and click apply. Thus, whenever we open Visual Studio through this icon on the taskbar it would open with administrator privileges.
