Here is an excerpt from the nomination site:

As the premier event for the Microsoft Dynamics® Customer and Partner business community, Convergence is where opportunity and innovation meet to deliver real business value. It’s the chance to make key business connections and to discover the full potential of Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

Customers, along with their Microsoft partners, come to Convergence from all corners of the globe to experience all that the event has to offer. Loaded with a wealth of informative sessions and other creative ways to learn, customers discover how to extend the power of their solution across all areas of their business. They also get a first look at new product releases and hear about future plans for their software.

Convergence is the annual event where connections are generated and best practices are shared. It is in that same spirit that we begin the process of creating Convergence 2013 by inviting our knowledgeable community to bring themselves forward as experts in their field. For the very first time, we’re launching a formal process with which Microsoft Dynamics customers can nominate themselves to participate in presentations, contribute on panels, facilitate discussions and—most importantly—amplify their voice amongst the vast, global Microsoft Dynamics community.

Through our online Speaker Nomination Form, you’ll be asked to provide your contact information, along with your areas of expertise and experience within the Microsoft products, and your speaking experience. Once submitted, all nominations will be considered by our Convergence Track Owners as they strategically create the sessions within each of our product tracks.

Speaking positions are not guaranteed, nor are they compensated financially. Speakers, based on their involvement, may or may not be provided with a reduced or free registration pass for the event. The Speaker Nomination process is open to all active Microsoft Dynamics customers. Microsoft employees and Microsoft partners are invited to nominate customers on their behalf, but only with their permission.

The Speaker Nomination process will be open from October 2 through November 30.
