As I announced in my previous post ... Mark Brummel has written a book. And not just a book .. a book about "NAV 2009 Application Design. This is a very general title, which can mean a lot. And I must say, it also covers a lot. In about 45 pages per chapter, Mark succeeded to pinpoint not only what the core functionality of NAV is all about, but also how it's built.
In my opinion: everything a consultant/developer should know! And in that understanding, I'm going to make this book mandatory to read at iFacto, for all our developers and consultants.
How do I know? I have been reviewing this book. Not only me, but also Daniel Rimmelzwaan, Matt Traxinger, Jeremy Vyska and Andrew Good. All respectable, dedicated people ... experts .. (except for me... ;°) ). And not to forget Mark Brummel, off course .. the author who has dedicated 6 months of free time, weekends, holidays ... into this book. Let's face it: it HAS to be a masterpiece!
What's in it? Well, Mark covered that in his blog quite extensively. Besides that, it's full of tips&tricks, pitfalls, ... . In my opinion, stuff you have to know, and definitely stuff you don't know yet.
Here is the cover (it seems Packt was out of flowers? - hopefully, there are more bridges then flowers ;°) ):
You can (pre)order the book here. Don't hesitate .. it's worth it.
