Altico Advisors’ Clients Were Dazzled by GP2013 at our Microsoft Dynamics GP2013 Launch Event

On Tuesday, the 11th of December,  Altico Advisors hosted a GP2013 Launch Event here in Massachusetts for an audience of 160 clients, prospective clients, and partners.  I’m going to provide herein a SkyDrive link to the PowerPoint. Sadly, you won’t be able to see the actual live demos of GP, but you’ll get the gist of it.

We began by thanking our many sponsors: Altico Financial Staffing @ http:\\www.AlticoStaffing.com, AMS Imaging @ http:\\www.amsimaging.com, Ariett Business Solutions @ http:\\www.Ariett.com, Azox @ http:\\www.Azox.com, Binary Stream @ http:\\www.BinaryStream.com, Bryley Systems @ http:\\www.bryley.com, Greystone Solutions @ http:\\www.Greystone.com, the  Microsoft Store @ http:\\www.microsoftstore.com/boston, PaperSave Pro @ http:\\www.papersavepro.com, Red Tail Solutions @ http:\\www.redtailsolutions.com, Reviora @ http:\\www.reviora.com, Scribe Software @ http:\\www.scribesoft.com, SoftwareONE @ http:\\www.SoftwareONE.com, and SpringAhead @ http:\\www.usetallie.com, and WilloWare @ http:\\www.WilloWare.com.

The keynote address was delivered by Heidi Labritz, Director of Business Applications for The Boston Red Sox Baseball Club, detailing how Microsoft Dynamics has transformed their organization from a systems perspective. Her address was quite impressive and generated dozens of questions from our audience.

We then briefly showed a list of the hundreds of new features that have been added to GP2013 and then focused on two short lists. The first was what we called IAT (It’s About Time!!). That list included the following new features: Additional Word Templates, Set as Default View Enabled from SmartList Favorites, Email for 64-bit Office, Email Indicator, Year-End Close Options, Fixed Assets Historical Depreciation Report, Add the BAI Format to Electronic Reconcile, Update Vendor 1099 Information, Relate/Link Items for Suggested Sales, Ship To Address, and Consolidations. You can see screenshots of all of the above in the PowerPoint.

Finally, we ended with the second short list, a countdown of what we consider to be the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Top 10. You can also see screenshots of these in the PowerPoint. Here’s the countdown:

10. Web Client
9. Drilldown Builder
8. Business Analyzer
7. Navigation List Builder
6. SRS Reports from Forms
5. Prepayments on POs
4. Purchasing Tolerance Handling
3. Reconciliation to General Ledger
2. Select Printer at Time of Printing
1.Management Reporter Drilldown

Now that I’ve consolidated a 3 ½ hour session into a single page of text, here, for your viewing pleasure, is the SkyDrive Link to the Altico Advisors Microsoft Dynamics GP2013 Launch Event PowerPoint: http://sdrv.ms/VEtC0c

Enjoy.
