Microsoft Windows 10 Build 10049 : Can’t change IP address
I recently updated my Windows to build 10049, and since the update I am unable to change my IP address to a static IP address. The option to change any IP settings is greyed out.
The solution to this is to use the New-NetIPAddress Powershell function to assign a new static IP address
New-NetIPAddress –interfacealias Ethernet –IPAddress 192.168.0.66 -PrefixLength 24 -DefaultGateway 192.168.0.1
