HTTP Error 503. The service in unavailable - D365 for operations

Hi,

We often find the issue stating service is not available when trying to access the AOS url for Dynamics 365 for operations, enterprise edition. Please follow the below steps to troubleshoot this issue/start the service.

(Note: This holds good for product version: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and

platform version: Update 12)

1. Check whether the World Wide Web Publishing Service is up and running on dev VM. If not, please start it. (Path - Windows Run command > services.msc > World Wide Web Publishing Service)

2. Try to access the AOS url, if its still unavailable check whether the application pool for AOSService is running or not on IIS(Internet Information Services) Manager on development VM. If not, please start it and services gets started.

(Path -  Windows run command > inetMgr > Application Pools > AOSService)
