I've recently found while using Field Services you may need to extend the functionality for the mobile client. The mobile client is using a Resco backend and this can be updated using Woodford
This guide will run through from creating the Project to enabling the Forms
1) Open Woodford and create a new Project by selecting "New"
2) You want to use Standard User, Default Type and the roles that will be enabled for this project
3) Once created double click on the project to configure
4) You will now get a menu similar to the old CRM 3/4 style Menu where you can open a list of entities
5) You will notice that the enabled out of the box entities are in bold colours and the disabled are greyed out, If you select the entity you want to enable and use the "Enable" button at the top.
6) Now you can expand the entity and see a familiar setup
7) Tick the fields that you require on the form.
8) Save the changes and it will publish the fields
9) A new form need to be created, Select Forms from the entity and "New"
10) In this instance i would use the edit form so that information can be added, Also give it a relevant name
11) You are now presented with a blank form and any related entities.
12) Drag the fields from the right hand side menu onto the form and save
13) You now add a view for the entity by selecting views and "New"
14) Name the View and give it a type (Most will be Public)
15) Position the field on the view
16) Now you can add this entity to the home page - If you select Home and then drag from the right to left and reposition
17) If you select Properties you can edit the Entity Menu name
18) You can remove items that you do not need by selecting them and selecting "Remove"
19) You can edit the Branding to link back to your company
20) The Branding Design can be changed in the Designer
21) You can also change your colour theme easily on the "Colour Theme" menu
22) You can use out of the box BPF (i will do a later blog on BPF for mobile devices)
23) Changing Images per device
24) Enabling Auditing
End Result
