The 3Cs of General ledger (The Neophyte series)
Hello D.M.-azing D365 Community!
For the past years, I had the privilege to share my knowledge and experiences as a Functional consultant thru writing a blog and recently, unboxing D365 as well using different platform – I came to realize and remember what my two main goals are and why I am doing this stuff.
One is to easily archive the things I have learned and encountered in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and most importantly to help and share my knowledge to those who want and are starting their journey as D365 Functional Consultant with the focus on Finance.
And so here we are, allow me to introduce a new series on Ms. Dynamic Millennial blog – The Neophyte Series. This has been inspired as well with the recent launch of Dynamics 365 Finance Internal Boot camp of Alpha Variance Solutions (https://www.alphavsolutions.com/) to train and give opportunity to our colleagues who are inspiring to explore and unbox the world of D365 Finance.
As a start of The Neophyte Series, let us together unbox the commonly called 3Cs in D365 F&O General ledger setup, namely:
1. Currencies
2. Chart of accounts
3. Calendars
These three setups composed the major configurations we have in D365 to make it able to be ready for use especially for Finance processes.
And for this blog, let us start and together unbox Currencies setup.
That’s it for now. I hope that you find this article as a helpful tool for you to better appreciate and understand, everything and anything, about Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
It will truly be a privilege if you will allow me to know your thoughts and suggestions for me to further improve the coming featured articles on our blog. ‘Til next time!
