How-To Update Global Apps in Dynamics 365 Business Central (no BS guide)

Have you ever shipped an AppSource update, told the client to install it, then got the message:

“Hey, I can’t see the changes.”

That happened to me recently.

The app was live. Validation passed. Other tenants had the update. But one client didn’t.

Nothing was broken. It was just how global app updates actually work in Business Central, especially when platform versions don’t line up.
