RfQ E-mail Template Placeholders in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
If you are working with the Request for Quotation (RfQ) feature in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365SCM), you may have noticed that in addition to printing formal documents through print management, you are also able to e-mail participants by selecting an e-mail template in the RfQ send email template field in the header.
However, I have not been able to find any official documentation of the placeholders available for use in the e-mail template, so I did some digging in the code and here are the placeholders you can use:
- todaysdate
- createddate
- requester
- requestingDepartment
- expiryDateTime
- bidType
- accountnum (Vendor)
- RFQCase
- RFQCaseName
- inviteOnly
The following text in an example of a template using some of these placeholders:
Dear Supplier,
There has been an update to the following request for quotation:
%RFQCase% %RFQCaseName%
Please note that the tender period expires on %expiryDateTime%.
Please log in to the portal and take appropriate action.
Best Regards,
The Contoso Procurement Team
