Nikolaos Mäenpää - Community Spotlight

I guess nobody dreams of becoming an ERP developer. Neither did I. But somehow I ended up on this path 11 years ago and I have loved most of it!

In my early days AX 2009 was just around the corner, but I did work also with AX3 and AX4. Fast forward some years and I was implementing one of the first Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations projects in Finland, followed by Finland's first AX2012->D365FO upgrade. In 2017 I moved to Switzerland to work for an ISV called CAPcargo (www.capcargo.com)

I like to understand all the moving parts of the system, so you can find me designing integrations, tweaking the performance, setting up build pipelines and of course writing code. In between I like to share what I've learned in my blog:  Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Technical Architect Blog

I also like to participate in the Dynamics Community discussions, helping others with their questions.

In my free time I enjoy the Swiss mountains with my wife.

The Dynamics Community is an invaluable resource for anyone working with Dynamics. During my career I've found so much help in the community, and it's great to be able to give back. Helping others also helps me keep my knowledge fresh, and think about problems that I don't encounter in my daily work. Learning is a never-ending process.

We're excited to recognize Nikolaos as our April 2019 Community Spotlight honoree. Nikolaos has been an active member of our community since early 2013, was the top achiever in February for Verified Answers in the forums, and he has been in the top 10 for Suggested & Verified answers every month for the last nine months! Check out his blog - About Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Technical Architect Blog - and show your appreciation to Nikolaos by rating and liking or sharing this post.
