Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as a Windows 10 app

This is a quick tip for those of you, who have not seen it before. With the new Microsoft Edge browser (and Google Chrome) it is possible to install a web page as a Windows 10 app and make it appear in the Start menu. More important, you can pin the app to the process line so it is easily accessible.

This is what Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365F&O) looks like as a Windows 10 app:

To add D365F&O as an app, open the application URL in the browser. In the browser click on the … in the right hand corner. From the menu select Apps and then Install Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Once done, D365F&O is available in the Start menu.

Another tip is: you can do the same for the Full Details screen for your cloud hosted environment in LCS. This way, you can quickly access your favourite environment directly from the process line.
