Microsoft to sunset Dynamics Online Payment Services, points customers to ISVs

As of Jan. 1, 2018, Payments Services available with any versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV, GP, RMS, Dynamics POS 2009, and Microsoft Office Accounting, will be discontinued.

After Dec. 31, 2017, customers of the Payment Services will not be able to process credit or debit card transactions, according to a blog post by Randy Higgins, a member of the Dynamics AX support team.

The team is encouraging customers to consider payment solutions provided by Dynamics ISVs to mitigate the potential business impact of discontinuation of Payment Services. Higgins directs customers to Microsoft's
