Reversing Entry

You may setup reverse entry in your journals.

So when you post a journal, system will auto post the reversal to the pre-set day you define on the journal.

You can see the auto posted transactions also in the journal lines.

This is mostly used for accrual type of transactions.

You may define the reverse entry date ign journal header or lines.

But each voucher should have the same reversal date for sure 

If selected in header, it is copied to the lines.

For default descriptions, if you have not used any, system will use the definition you have written on the journal lines or els will use the definition from the default description form.

Tip: You may not see this field on other journals than daily journal. So users can add these fields and use this functionality.
