Dynamics 365 Installation – Part 12 – Import existing organization
After you have successfully installed CRM, it’s time to create or import organization from existing DB. In our scenario, we needed to restore a copy of production DB in our development environment for which we have installed CRM. As production DB contains data and entities which can be useful to have some testing before go live.
In order to import existing organization, Type “Deployment Manager” in windows server startup pane and open it.

Right click “Organizations” and select “Import Organization…” as shown in below screenshot

Type SQL Server name in the text box in as you can see in this screenshot, then click Next.

Type in URL of SSRS, click Next.

Click Next.

Organization imported successfully

You can test the imported organization by right click and choose browse option from the appeared menu.
