Jo's "Did You Know" - Send Users a Message in GP!

Did you guys know that you can Send Users a Message in GP?

Ssend all users or just some users messages in Dynamics GP?

Do you want to send all users a reminder to log off for maintenance? Do you need to send users processing Payroll a message to exit so you can update the payroll tables?

Go to the Administration Area Page>Utilities>Send Users Message

Choose to send a message in GP and type your message out to send it!

Momentarily, all of the users checked in the options will receive your message! While the message displays they can do nothing else in GP but hit “OK” on the message screen!

 You also have the ability to send a message with a task and reminder!

After which a 1-time task appears for each user you marked to receive the alert!

The alert will not disappear until the user marks it as complete!

For best effect, check off both the pop up along with the task reminder for a more urgent reminder to take care of the task!
