Editable grids on UCI app Dashboard (Model driven PowerApp)

Ever wonder if we can give better user experience to our Dynamics users, that too a nice dashboard with what they want - All in their landing page for day today work life, so they can bulk edit multiple records without exporting to an excel file for editing at once before re-importing or opening records one by one and make changes (oh that's painful - Not any more)

Good news: We can do Editable grid in the dashboard, though this works only on UCI app - its definitely a blessing.

How to create a dashboard?: MS documentation

Just create a dashboard, add a list, enable the "Editable Grid" control for that component.



Classic web UI will not render the editable grid rather the regular old read only grid will load.

Open an UCI app, navigate to the dashboard - you will see this awesome control.



Note: Make sure you add this dashboard as asset/artifact in UCI app (Model driven PowerApp)
